Summer League is a player development program designed for rec families committed to learning. Golden Goal Summer & Winter Leagues allow players to remain actively learning thru small sided games that encourage more touches to the ball & give kids the freedom to be creative without the pressure of coaches needing to beat coaches. Beginners welcome!

 

Beyond tactics and fundamentals we train our players to be critical thinkers, self reliant, to lead with a positive attitude while learning good sportsmanship & self discipline. Players will be coached during training and rely on their own decision making skills during game-time.

What we’ve dubbed our “Mini League” incentivizes players thru wins & losses but more importantly thru Individual Player Stats. Statistics are recorded during competition for "Most Goals", "Most Assists", & "Most Goalkeeper Saves". 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place awards are given in those 3 categories.

-Players are limited to one hat trick per game.

-Unlimited assists.

-Unlimited keeper saves.

Players with stats in all 3 categories qualify for the Most Valuable Player Award. For that - there can only be one.

 

Players compete for stats across divisions. Simply put, a U9 could lead in keeper saves while a U14 places second, & a U7 third. League stats will be posted weekly. At the end of the league [for any stats ending in a draw] we will revert to game wins & losses to determine who takes the medal. Any game ending in a draw at the end of regulation time will proceed to “Golden Goal” to determine a winner. At that time there will be a short break, goalkeepers will be pulled, players with hat tricks will be allowed to score, and teams will play until the one team scores.
