Golden Goal Soccer Club host's family events every year with our players, parents, families and friends...
For Easter, we have a breakfast potluck. We bring soccer equipment and have a kids vs parents' game. Players love it! We have eggshells filled with confetti and crack them on the heads of participants. We play fun easter activity games and soccer related games as well.
4th of July parade is our biggest event. Kids wear their Golden Goal jerseys and dribble their soccer ball in front of thousands of spectators. "Great moment of fame" for them they've said. Coaches will have participants run drills for spectators to watch. Some chosen lucky kids will have the opportunity to boot a soccer ball into the crowd as a gift from Golden Goal SC. We end near the waterfront where we stay the rest of the day to enjoy the fireworks at night. Parade in North las Vegas is in the works...
Thanksgiving traditional game. Early morning on Thanksgiving Day we do everything we would do for our Easter event. Soccer equipment is brought out as well and we have our traditional Thanksgiving Turkey-Cup game, kids vs parents. Then we're off to cooking for Thanksgiving dinner.
Night out with the San Jose Earthquakes! Players had the awesome opportunity to walk out with professional Major League Soccer players held by the hand. Some have the opportunity to hold a huge flag at the middle of the filed, and others get the chance to be ball boys. Such a great experience for the kids. At the end of the game, kids get a chance to take pictures with pros and get autographs. Very memorable experience! This happens once a year with us. Now being in Las Vegas, NV, our plan is to do the same with the Las Vegas Lights FC.
